Prati and Rao again on the pitch in the Azzurra jersey

After the victory with goals scored in the debut match against Brazil, biancazzurro midfielder Matteo Prati was once again deployed in the starting eleven of the Italy Under 20 team by federal coach Carmine Nunziata in the match against Nigeria, being replaced by peer Pisilli three minutes from the 90th minute.

After a balanced first half, in which the Azzurrini also hit a crossbar, in the second half it was Nigeria that went ahead with Salem Fago's goal midway through the second half, which was followed by Sunday's goal in the second half that sealed the match for good.

The defeat against the Nigerian selection and the simultaneous victory of Brazil against the Dominican Republic oblige the Azzurrini to win in the last match of the round that will see them engaged precisely against the Central American national team, Saturday, May 27 at 8 p.m. Italian time.

A new presence with the Azzurra jersey also for young Spallino forward Emanuele Rao who, after starting in the last match against Spain, took over a quarter of an hour from the end in the Italy - Slovenia match, valid for the last round of the group stage of the European Under-17 Championship.

Although federal coach Bernardo Corradi's Azzurrini beat their Slovenian peers 3-0, the draw between Spain and Serbia pins Italy in third place in Group B, thus ending their adventure in the top continental competition.
