The Under 18 qualified for the finals for the Scudetto!

Now it's official the Under 18 biancazzurra is mathematically qualified for the Final Four for the national title one round ahead of the end of the regular season.

Hellas Verona's home defeat against Parma, in fact, allows the young Spallini to obtain a pass for the final phase of the Campionato Nazionale Professionisti Under 18, which will see the top two in each round take the field on Sunday, June 11, to play for access to the final scheduled, instead, on Tuesday, June 13.

Despite the fact that ninety minutes are still missing to the end of the championship, it is already certain that the opponent of the biancazzurri will be Roma coached by Tugberk Tanrivermis, the absolute leader of group A, while it will be necessary to wait for the outcome of the last day to know the fourth qualified team, which will face Inter, winner of group B.

For SPAL, this is a happy confirmation among the best four Under 18 teams at the national level, after last season's resounding ride, which led coach Pedriali's boys to the conquest of the national title precisely after beating the giallorossi peers in the semifinals and Bologna in the final played at the "Del Duca" Stadium in Ascoli.

The biancazzurro coach commented thus on the qualification achieved with his boys, "I was hoping to return to participate in the Final Four, and inside the locker room, together with the boys, we had set ourselves this goal from the very beginning. This team has grown and matured a lot over the course of the season, always working with sacrifice and dedication even in the face of inevitable difficulties. I talked to the boys immediately after qualification and congratulated them, because they all showed that they can adapt to the methodology required of them."

"Now we still have one more game left before we close the championship and we will definitely play it with less pressure. After that we will dive into the preparation for the match against Roma: we know it is a must-win match, but we are not the kind of team that can control and manage the result, and this I think can be a strength in a dry match where the only useful result is victory."
