Welcome back to biancazzurro Mirco!

S.P.A.L. announces that it has signed striker Mirco Antenucci to a contract until June 30, 2025.

Raised in the youth ranks of Giulianova, Antenucci made his debut in the professional ranks with the Abruzzese formation in the 2002/2003 Serie C1 Championship, kicking off a career full of goals and victories that, after the Giallorossi, saw him star with the shirts of Venezia, Catania, Pisa, Ascoli, Torino, Spezia and Ternana.

In the summer of 2014, he moved to Leeds United in the Championship, among whose ranks he collected 80 appearances and 19 goals in two seasons, and it was from the English club that he first arrived at SPAL in 2016.

He joins the biancazzurro team, newly promoted to Serie B, where he is decisive in the return to the top division thanks to 18 goals scored in 37 matches. The Wolf of Roccavivara remained in Ferrara for the next two seasons as well, surpassing the historic milestone of 100 appearances with the SPAL jersey and scoring another 16 goals in two Serie A championships.

In the 2019/2020 season he moved to Bari where he played for four seasons, collecting 141 appearances and 63 goals, making him the most prolific player in the history of the club. After making a decisive contribution to the Galletti's promotion to Serie B in 2022, last season he took the field in 34 games and scored 10 goals reaching the playoff final for promotion to Serie A.
