Marco Carraro is biancazzurro!

S.P.A.L. announces that it has acquired the right to the sports performance of midfielder Marco Carraro permanently from Società Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio. The new Biancazzurro player has signed a contract until June 30, 2025.

Born in Dolo in 1998, Carraro moved his first steps in the youth sector of Inter crowning his path within the Nerazzurri nursery with the victory of the Primavera Championship at the end of the 2016/2017 season.

After his experience at Pescara and his debut in Serie B, Atalanta acquired his performance rights in the summer of 2018, and the following year he played a first part of the season on loan at Foggia and a second at Perugia, also in the cadet division. He remained in Umbria also in the following season, collecting a total of 52 appearances with the biancorossa formation.

In Serie B he later wore the jerseys of Frosinone and Cosenza, before moving to Crotone with whom in the last Serie C Championship he reached the quarterfinals of the playoffs for promotion to the cadetteria.

In his career Carraro has also been summoned several times to the Italian national youth teams, collecting a total of 15 appearances with the Azzurri selections from the Under 15 to the Under 21.
