SPAL - Olbia, coach Colucci's pre-match conference
On the eve of the match against the Sardinians, coach Leonardo Colucci reached the press room of the Centro Sportivo "G.B. Fabbri" for the pre SPAL - Olbia conference, a match valid for the 19th day of the Serie C NOW 2023/2024 Championship.
"We all hope to have a good Christmas with a victory, our intent is that, to win against Olbia. We had a good week, as always actually, and the desire and determination to bring home the win is there."
"Contiliano is fine he has been training for a week although we have to see how many actual minutes he has in his legs. Simone Edera is a good player, he can give us a big hand and I think he can get a half-hour. When you insert a player he brings new blood, he has been training with us for a couple of weeks and after the Christmas break I think he will have reached top form. Peda is back in the group and is available while Rosafio will not be available."
"We know that beyond the name of the opponent, for whom we must always show utmost respect, no game is precluded to us. We must not spare ourselves, we have come close many times to winning but now we have to do it: we all deserve it, the fans, the club and the players. The mistake we must not make, however, is to think that an easy game awaits us tomorrow, in addition to respect we have to be objective and Olbia are above us, which means they are stronger than SPAL today. We will find an attentive team, I'm sure the guys will put desire and determination into it but we have to be careful not to let the game play us."
"The team is becoming more solid in the units, this is the most positive side of the last few weeks, this is what we are continuing to work on, then as I've always said individual mistakes have been there and will continue to be there but I'm liking the team in terms of how they work as a whole. Tomorrow a win would legitimize the four consecutive useful results that sometimes may seem like defeats but instead are important, the win would give us that awareness and today we are lacking, so I really hope it will come because the boys deserve it."
