Welcome to biancazzurro Marcel Büchel

S.P.A.L. reports that it has finalized the signing of midfielder Marcel Büchel. The new biancazzurro player has signed a contract until June 30, 2025.

Born in 1991, after playing in the youth ranks of Siena, Büchel moved to Juventus in the summer of 2010, making his debut with the bianconeri first team in the group stage of the 2010/2011 Europa League.

In the following years he then played a Lega Pro championship with Cremonese and three Serie B championships with the shirts of Gubbio, Lanciano and Bologna.

In 2015 he moved to Empoli with whom he made his debut in the top division, while in 2017 he moved to Hellas Verona where he played his third Serie A Championship.

In the summer of 2020, he wore the Ascoli jersey and played three Serie B championships with the bianconeri, reaching the milestone of 170 appearances in the Cadetteria.

Büchel has also collected 21 appearances with the Liechtenstein senior national team, playing as a starter in all four matches played by his national team between last October and November.

The new biancazzurro midfielder will wear jersey number 77.
