Alleanza Digitale, S.P.A.L. Foundation stars in initiative launched by Fondazione Estense
On the occasion of the National Day against Bullying and Cyberbullying, at the headquarters of Fondazione Estense located inside Palazzo Crema, a conference was held to present the "Alleanza Digitale" initiative involving twelve sports clubs in the city of Ferrara, in order to promote the correct and conscious use of smartphones and digital devices among children and families, enhancing the role of sports.
In the presence of representatives of the city's main institutions, a social pact was presented that will be proposed and publicly signed on March 7, 2024. The covenant includes the commitment of sports clubs to collaborate with each other and with Ferrara institutions all, to involve children and their parents in order to raise awareness and help them reflect on the proper use of digital platforms, offering suggestions of good practices for a conscious use of time in reference to technology.
Among the twelve sports entities that have joined the project is also S.P.A.L., which, through the work of S.P.A.L. Foundation, was among the promoters of this union of intent together with Fondazione Estense and Ferrara Basket 2018.
"S.P.A.L. Foundation," says Martina Vanzetto, Social Responsibility & Charity Manager S.P.A.L., "has always strongly believed in the central role of sports as an indispensable means of healthy physical and psychological development, enabling the elimination of all barriers and promoting social inclusion. I am particularly happy that by sharing ideas and values with two leading local entities such as Ferrara Basket 2018 and Fondazione Estense, an important and unique initiative such as Alleanza Digitale was born. I am sure that the strong and sincere unity of purpose between all the realities involved will be able to bring concrete benefits for young people in Ferrara and their families, with respect to a central issue such as the proper use of digital platforms."
