SPAL - Arezzo, coach Di Carlo's post-match conference

At the end of the match between SPAL and Arezzo, coach Mimmo Di Carlo reached the press room of the "Paolo Mazza" Stadium to comment with the journalists present on the draw against the Tuscans.

"Arezzo is a technical team, we knew that, and tonight they showed that they are well and in good shape. We contained them well and had our chances, in fact I congratulate the opponent's goalkeeper who made two important saves, especially the one on Carraro. When we found ourselves with the extra man we lowered our pace, adapting to the opponent's tempo, and absurdly we did less well because we were not very lucid."

"I liked the team's attitude however, while I did not like the hustle and bustle in the last 30 minutes that led us to play only the central routes instead of exploiting the side chains more to create space."

"We need to be more decisive, soccer is made up of episodes and details and we need to be more nasty under goal if we want to score goals. We know we have a lot of things to work on, we will finally have a full week ahead of us and we intend to make the most of it to continue our path of growth."

"I think we probably deserved the win tonight, it didn't come and we feel sorry for our fans because we wanted to get the three points. We will take this point and from Tuesday we will work better than before. If we want to see the positive side this is the fourth consecutive useful result and we have to keep looking for this continuity, finding a few more wins. We could have done better, we know, but the team is doing well and I saw commitment and determination. Today we paid for too much franticness in looking for the play only for the central routes and we will work not to repeat this mistake."
