SPAL - Torres, coach Di Carlo's pre match conference
On the eve of the upcoming challenge, coach Mimmo Di Carlo presented the SPAL - Torres match, scheduled for Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m., in the pre-match press conference of the 30th day of the Serie C NOW 2023-2024 Championship.
"SPAL comes from five consecutive useful results, while Torres comes from four victories, so we are expecting a good match tomorrow. The rossoblù have an identity and play well, the position they occupy in the standings is absolutely deserved and they are a team that until the end will try to finish second. As for SPAL, we are growing and we are doing well, so tomorrow will be a great match."
"Regardless of the form we will adopt, we will have to be good at interpreting the various situations in the match by reading our opponents well and limiting their strengths, but I am sure that our personnel, along with the drive of our fans, will make the difference. As for the starting eleven, tomorrow those who are well and those who have recovered more energy will play. We have 27 players available and I am not worried about the single choice: this is a quality squad and I am confident that whoever will be in the match will do well, as has been the case so far. We are proving that those who start from the first minute do well and those who take over do even better."
"Tomorrow we will not have to lower our pace, because when we do we get into trouble. This is something we are working on and on which we still have a lot of room for growth. The important thing today, however, is character: we are reacting to the difficulty and we are starting to read the various moments of the game well, we have more confidence in ourselves and we can play with everyone. We know that tomorrow we will have to make a few fewer mistakes and be more concrete, because to win we will need to be almost perfect."
"I have a lot of confidence in this team, the January market gave more choices and quality even though I already knew there was a good group here, but it was equally obvious that something had not worked well. I knew it needed time and since my return I have tried to give the boys more confidence. Today there is balance, motivation, hunger for victory and that is what I want to see in the boys' eyes tomorrow."
