SPAL - Rimini, coach Di Carlo's pre-match conference

Just hours before the next engagement, coach Mimmo Di Carlo presented the SPAL - Rimini match, scheduled for Sunday, March 10 at 2 p.m., at the pre-match press conference of the 31st day of the NOW 2023-2024 Serie C Championship.

"We lost a match, but we certainly did not lose our certainty. The group is cohesive, is well and has conviction in its own means. It is obvious that the defeat left some anger, but it is up to us to turn it into positive energy and put all our strength on the field to achieve the goal of three points."

"All games are difficult, there's no use getting around it. There are still eight days, 24 points up for grabs and we have to try to take all the best we can, starting with tomorrow's match against Rimini. We know very well that after a defeat there is a need for a strong reaction, but above all I think we need to look for the three points with more competitive fury and more determination and tomorrow I want to see this from the boys."

"The team needs to put more fury on the field and believe more to go for the win. We need to win more duels, recover more second balls and be able to raise the tempo at every moment of the game. It is clear that then in front of us there are also the opponents and we respect them, because they have players of great quality for this category and, especially on the offensive front, they have important technical skills and are capable of building a lot of goal chances."

"My thoughts on the championship? Today we entered the group of teams fighting for direct salvation and we are there with much more confidence and much more belief in our means. We are SPAL and all of us, staff, players, members of the club and fans, have to give our best to get to the goal: all together I am convinced that we will get there with more strength and more satisfaction, because this championship has to be played until the end and we have to do it in the best possible way."
