SPAL finds another win in match against Treviso

New success for the biancazzurri of coach Mimmo Di Carlo, who impose themselves 3-2 over Treviso in the friendly played this afternoon on the ground of the "G.B. Fabbri" Sports Center.

At the start of the match, it was SPAL that created the greatest dangers with D'Orazio going close to scoring on a couple of occasions: first on a free kick from a defiladed position that went off the bottom, then with a volley from inside the area on which Salviato intervened and deflected into a corner kick.

Five minutes before halftime, it was the same D'Orazio who, after taking advantage of a defensive lapse on the part of Treviso, sprinted toward the goal and, coming face-to-face with the Venetian goalkeeper, did not let himself be hypnotized, finding the winning goal.

Three minutes in, the biancazzurri's doubling came as well: Saiani won a penalty kick, whose shot was taken by D'Orazio, who bagged SPAL's 2-0.

Early in the second half Treviso shortened the gap with a goal by Sottovia, who was the quickest to pounce on the ball put in the middle by Meola. Ten minutes later, it was then the same Meola who scored, rebounding De Respinis' shot into the net, which was rebuffed by Del Favero.

Only three minutes passed and Orfei scored the final 3-2 biancazzurro goal, collecting a cross from D'Orazio.

At the end of the match, young spallino midfielder Fabio Parravicini commented on the match against the Venetian formation as follows: "These friendlies are important opportunities for the whole team to grow and allow us to get to know each other more and more even among teammates. I think it was particularly positive the approach to today's challenge, which allowed us to build several dangerous actions."

"Personally," Parravicini added, "I would like to thank the whole group, because from the very first days they are helping a lot both me and the other boys coming from Primavera to give their best, giving us a lot of advice to enter as quickly as possible into big league soccer."
